COMMISSION ON AGING
REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 1, 2009
Call to Order – The meeting was called to order at 2:00 pm.
A. Roll Call - PRESENT: Debra Gaudette, Chairperson, Edmond LaLiberte, Priscilla Lancaster, Mary Ann Lee, C. Edwin Carlson, Marie Fredrickson.
ABSENT: Fran Rago.
Old Business
- Debbie will be obtaining the checks for Shaws, Shop Rite for the gift certificates and Dale (Into the Groove).
- Marie reported that the decorations and table condiments have been purchased and are ready to distribute.
New Business
- The number of tickets sold as of this date was: 307.
- Lillian brought in the programs and colored tickets to be placed on the programs. She also reported that we will have a Police Officer from 10:00am to 3:00pm. The Fire Department will be rotating representatives.
- Marie read the thank you letter received from Pat Hill.
- It was requested that we all wear fall colored clothing to the Picnic.
We be meeting at 9:00am on September 15, 2009 at the Pratt & Whitney Retiree Club, 200 Clement Road, East Hartford, CT.
Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Mary Ann Lee, seconded by Ed LaLiberte. Meeting adjourned at 2:30 pm.
